1. Equipment introduction:
The rain gauge consists of stainless steel outer cover, plastic water inlet, filter screen, funnel, working platform, magnetic steel, dry reed switch, bearing screws, tipping bucket components, limit screws, locking nuts, bracket, base, foot, leveling bubble, cable sheath, wiring terminals and other main parts.
The rainwater collected by the water inlet is filtered through the upper cylinder (funnel) and injected into the metering hopper (which is injection molded with engineering plastic and divided into two equal volume triangular chambers by a partition in the middle). It is a mechanical bistable structure, where when one chamber receives water, the other chamber is in a waiting state. When the received rainwater volume reaches the predetermined value, it flips over due to gravity and is in a waiting state, while the other chamber is in a working state. When its water intake reaches the predetermined value, it flips over on its own and is in a waiting state. Magnetic steel is installed on the side wall of the tipping bucket, which scans from the side of the dry reed switch when the tipping bucket flips, causing the two dry reed switches to switch on and off alternately. Every time the tipping bucket flips over, the dry reed switch sends out a switch signal (pulse signal).
Each recorded pulse signal represents a certain millimeter of precipitation, achieving the purpose of precipitation telemetry.

This product can be widely applied to the monitoring and alarm of rainstorm, mountain flood disasters and various hydrometeorology in mountain areas.

This instrument is a precipitation measurement instrument, and its performance meets the relevant requirements of the national standards GB/T11832-2002 "tipping bucket rain gauge" and GB/T11831-2002 "hydrological measurement and reporting device telemetry rain gauge".
The core component of this instrument, the tipping bucket, adopts a three-dimensional streamlined design, which makes the tipping bucket water more smoothly and has the functions of self-cleaning dust and easy cleaning.
