1. Equipment introduction
Ultrasonic level meter is a digital level meter controlled by a microprocessor. In the measurement, the ultrasonic pulse is emitted by the sensor (transducer). The sound wave is reflected by the liquid surface and is received by the same sensor or an ultrasonic receiver. It is converted into an electrical signal through a piezoelectric crystal or magnetostrictive device, and the distance between the sensor and the surface of the measured liquid is calculated from the time between the transmission and reception of the sound wave. Due to the non-contact measurement, the media under test is almost unlimited and can be widely used in the measurement of heights of various liquid and solid materials.

Ultrasonic level meter is suitable for water level measurement at rivers, lakes, reservoirs, reservoirs, estuaries, channels, ship locks and various hydroulic buildings. Therefore, it can be used as a sensor for water level data acquisition system and hydrological automatic measurement and reporting system.
